Legal Services Offered

Flammia Law specializes in Elder Law and Trusts, Wills, and Estate Planning. We have a good track record helping our clients achieve the financial and medical security they need by planning for the future and overcoming objections within the legal system.

Medicaid Planning

Kathleen Flammia offers personalized counsel in the difficult areas of Medicaid planning, application, submission, and appeals to ensure that your application does not result in the denial of benefits.

Estate Planning

In the area of Estate planning, Ms. Flammia knows how to diffuse the possible roadblocks that can alter the intended distribution of your assets, such property issues, children from prior marriages, divorce settlements, the Florida Homestead Law, estate taxes, beneficiary designations, and much more. From the preparation of Wills to the drafting and formulation of Trust Agreements, our practice focuses on the development and implementation of comprehensive plans for the orderly distribution and transfer of property and assets with minimum income, estate, and gift tax consequences.

We also provide a key component of Estate Planning via the preparation of Durable Powers of Attorney and other Advanced Directives, including Living Wills and Health Care Surrogates.

Guardianships

Kathleen Flammia also represents clients in Guardianships matters. She handles guardianships under Chapter 744, Guardian Advocacy's under Chapter 393, and Guardianships for Minors. Guardianships are necessary if there are no legal documents in place allowing one to handle financial or health decisions for another.

Probate

Kathleen Flammia handles formal, summary and ancillary administration. She can assist you in transferring the assets of your loved one upon their death. Ms. Flammia and her staff strive to make this difficult time easier by professionally, competently and compassionately handling your case and answering your concerns.
